Meeting Cold Snap

Walking quickly, it didn't take Molly long to find the correct office. This floor was much quieter than the fifth, but there were definitely plenty of people working diligently at their desks. Up here, it was mostly people in offices. She figured there were more heroes up here than just Cold Snap, but wasn't able to see any. Pausing before the door, she held her breath, then knocked. "Come in," she heard. She let out her breath and opened the door.

It was him. Leaning against his desk, scrolling on his phone, Cold Snap looked up. Molly almost melted. He was tall, maybe 6'6". He was wearing his signature blue and silver outfit, which did a great job of highlighting his physique. All superheroes were attractive, especially to a fan like Molly, but Cold Snap was a heartthrob. His piercing eyes held her in place while his subtle smirk made her legs tremble. "You have something for me?" he asked. Molly nodded herself back to reality. "Uh-huh. Yess. This is for you." She stuck her arm out to hand him the file and he took it gently, then pulled firmly to wrest it from Molly's frozen hand. She let out a squeak.

Cold Snap's brow furrowed. "You okay, girl? Do you need some water or something?" A few long seconds passed before Molly was able to piece her composure back together. "S-sorry! I'm so sorry! Water? No thank you, I'm all good. I just... sorry I know you hear this a lot but I'm such a huge fan of yours!" His head tilted back and he laughed, a wonderful sound that Molly committed to memory immediately. "Ah, you're just star-struck. Happens all the time 'round here. I haven't seen you before, are you new?" The intern nodded. "Yeah, I just started yesterday."

"Ah, that explains it," he continued. "I would never forget a pretty girl like you." Molly's heart stopped, then pounded, and pounded again. She felt her face heat up. Trying to respond, she simply squeaked again before struggling out a "th-thank you!" Cold Snap smiled. "You must be an intern if they have you running papers. I get that right?" Molly nodded again, still reeling. "Yup. I make copies, run papers, and do anything I possibly can to make the heroes' lives better. Is there anything else I can do for you?" Meeting her gaze, the hero smirked. "Anything at all?" Heart pounding in her chest, Molly replied, "Yes, anything. I will do anything you ask me to."
