The twins respect Laurens authority

Agatha speaks up, "yeah, you're right, we really should behave. Sis, I know it's annoying but Lauren is just doing there job and after all we're in the mess because we misbehaved so this really is the punishment we deserve."

Lauren floated their (still being hugged by Agnes) in shock due to Agatha easily without challenge respecting her authority as the older and maturer adult. It was a welcome surprise and Lauren felt pleased that her control is going to remain unchallenged through the rest of the long month ahead of her.

"thank you Agatha", Lauren says, "and you are right, I'm sure if you two behave then everything should go smoothly and next time your parents would consider not hiring me to babysit you... for starters, Agnes, can you put me down!"

"Oh, yeah sorry Laurie", Agnes said while letting go of Lauren causing her to fall with a sudden jolt when she hit the floor causing her to stumble a bit before falling over onto her rear; maintaining balance while basically wearing stilts was no easy task. Lauren's face turned red , falling over in a childish manner leaving her sitting on the ground staring up at the towering twins was not a part of her introduction. "oh sorry", Agnes said while reaching out a hand to help Lauren to her feet which she declined and instead attempted to stand up by herself which for the same reason she fell was far from glamorous.

Watching Lauren brush herself off after finally standing up, Agatha begins walking off after she proclaims, "I'm going to make some tea, how much sugar do you like?", "a teaspoon thanks", "hey sis, do you mind giving me some help... finding the teabags". A bit confused Agnes responds, "uhh, sure, not sure why you'd need my help with that" and walks after Agatha into the kitchen leaving Lauren alone in the living room.

Unnerved by the initial encounter, Lauren was worried they where going to be pests but it seems they really had matured and accepted her superiority without much challenge. As she is mulling over what to do she receives a text, checking her phone it was from Adam her boyfriend 'hey, heads up, tonights pool party at Brittanys has been called off, don't know the details sorry.'. That wasn't really important to Lauren, she would never think of going to beach party never mind that she couldn't due to the squirts she had to babysit.

Across in the other room, completely outside Laurens awareness, the two twins where whispering to each other. Agatha chirps, "I can't believe thats Laurie, she's so short!" to which Agnes responds, "yeah, I remember when she towered over us, it was so intimidating", "I know; Did you see her boots?! They must be giving her 2 extra inches minimum!". The twins continued talking a bit longer about more about stuff which wasn't of any interest.

After a few minutes, Lauren walked into the kitchen to see Agnes filling the teapot with boiling water while Agatha rested across the room on her phone currently checking the weather app. Looking up from her phone, Agatha seemed unusually excited as she quickly walked over to Lauren standing slightly too close. "Lauren! I just remembered, you know when we where all younger and our families would drive to the local orchard to go apple picking?", not letting Lauren respond Agatha continued, "well! I just checked my phone and the orchard is currently open! Wouldn't that be a really fun way for us to catch up?!"

Lauren was taken back by Agatha's childish enthusiasm.
