Late

It’s a short drive to the party and cars surround the place. It seems like we are one of the last ones to arrive and we find a spot pretty far from the entrance. A very small number of people are also arriving now and heading towards the mansion. We start walking towards the mansion too, and the heels are hard to walk in. I wish I had some time to practice, but I didn’t and instead, I continue to trip occasionally and need to grab onto Macy more than once for balance. She just laughs at my predicament.

Inside the party, it’s raging and it seems like we arrived just before the costume contests start. I try to look for our friends and spot two of them. I point them out to Macy and we head over.

One of them is a woman wearing a sexy nurse outfit, Priscilla, and the other is her husband, Brendan, wearing a trench coat.

We walk up to them and Priscilla looks at us and says, “Do I know you?” She looks more closely at us and says, “Oh my god!” She points at me, “You’re Dennis?!” She points at my wife, “You’re Macy?!”

“Wait, really?” Brendan says and he looks closer, “Oh shit, it really is you two.”

“You two look amazing,” Priscilla says, “I can’t believe how good a woman Dennis makes. Macy, you make such a good man too.”

“Thank you,” Macy says, trying to make her voice sound more low-pitched, “But please, call Mace and this is my girlfriend, Denise.”

“Hi!” I try to pitch the tone of my voice really high so that I have the sound of a typical bubbly airhead.

Priscilla laughs a little and then says, “It’s nice to meet you, Denise and Mace. By the way, you both look so good. I bet you could win the couples costume contest.”

“I like the sound of that,” Macy says, “What will you two be doing?”

Brendan quickly opens and closes his trench coat revealing a whole BDSM outfit. “We plan on heading upstairs,” he says.

“Well, have fun,” I say.

“You, too,” Priscilla says, “And good luck in the contest.” They both head upstairs.
