Dry off, and a few unpleasant surprises...

Hurrying, Laure dried off, finally feeling warmer after that jolt of cold water. She dried her hair, noting bitterly that due to poorly rinsing her hair had gone totally frizzy. She also didn't have makeup to reapply.

Lauren went to get dressed, but realized all she had was her sweat soaked clothes. She couldn't put those on... but all her other clothes were in storage in the attic! She'd tried to put a few boxes in the living room but her mother said she 'couldn't clutter the shared space'. So, to get dressed she'd have to go up to the attic wrapped only in a towel! She hated being less than perfectly dressed!

Lauren realized something else. Her sweat soaked Spanx and padded bra were here. Normally Lauren did all her own laundry, but she didn't even have a hamper to put these in! So she set them in the bathroom hamper. She'd have to remember to come back and wash them herself, so nobody would see her shaping garments!

Reluctantly, before her mother carried out her threat and yanked her from the bathroom, Lauren creaked open the bathroom door to head to the attic, wearing only a towel...
