Moving back with the fam

Lauren returned to her house. Despite the humiliation of failing at her independent, adult life and moving in with her family with her tail between her legs, Lauren tried to preserve her refined dignity. She arrived at the house she'd grown up in and, with a **** sigh, left the U haul and headed into the house.

Inside her step brother Dennis was playing video games and her mother was in the kitchen.

"Hey, I'm home." Lauren said.

"Look who's back!" Dennis grinned. "You couldn't stay away from me, could you!"

"As if, you little creep." Lauren shot back.

Dennis's father and Lauren's mother had only married a few years prior, and it was clear Dennis didn't view Lauren as a sister, but as a hot chick he got to live with. The little creep always seemed to try to walk in on her 'accidentally' in the bathroom. His antics, combined with her mother's sternness and sister's bitchiness were why Lauren had been so eager to leave in the first place!

"No fighting you two!" Lauren's mother snapped. "Lauren, you just got home, try not to pick fights with everyone."

"But he... nevermind." Lauren shook her head, annoyed already. "Now, I'll need help bringing my stuff into my room..."

"What room?" Dennis asked, clearly amused.

"Uh, my bedroom." Lauren pointed out the obvious.

"Lauren, we converted that into an office for your father Jim." Lauren's mother explained, causing Lauren's jaw to drop.

"But... but where the hell will I live?" Lauren yelped.
