The first few hours after being filled with the fertilized eggs, Sage slept and rested as the process of survival of the fittest went on in her womb. The eggs that weren't strong enough were continuously absorbed by the bigger much larger growing eggs until only four remained out of the two dozen that had been transfered.

Sage's nipples had began growing even darker as her areolas widened and her breasts filled with milk. The substance that had been injected into her body had kick-started her lactation to nourish their children once they hatched and were ready to be delivered.

"Mmmm... so cold..."

Sage mumbled meekly, cuddling up nakedly to Iko for warmth. Her large belly was so huge that her belly button had popped outward from housing their four children safely. There was no telling how long she'd have to carry the little spider babies for.
