Peak Maturity

The next few days after those words had been placed in her mind, Rose was left speechless as both Fauna and Penelope began to have growth spurts, learning to walk and talk faster than their 'older' siblings Oaken and CJ. So by the end of the week cycle, both girls were at peak maturity and had stopped growing.

They'd both also received matching tracker bracelets like the rest of adults, signifying that they were of breedable age.

"I want to help."

Penelope interrupted her aunt Addy as the woman was working on blueprints to build homes for everyone. She peered over the etchings and then towards the treeline of forestry. Her long dark snake tail was tough as nails as she made off into the woods.

Minutes later, trees could be heard cracking as her impossibly strong tail whacked them clean down. They began to fall and made life easier on her aunt. So she wouldn't have to cut them down. Penelope cut down about a dozen big trees with her tail before heading home to curl up and nap for the rest of the day.

"She's so strong."

Chae muttered, standing beside Addy with a leather bound journal in her hand. She wrote a few more stuff under her daughter's name, documenting her strength for further research properties.
