The next best thing to having a "to read" list is checking out what someone else is following.

John had started building cross-site recommendation lists a few years back. It was easy to follow users from one place to another, and see what their favorites were across the web. Certain things gave them away - username similarities, references to specific authors, and using the same lines in their forum signatures. Once he'd found a user with interests similar to his own, he'd add them to his list and categorize their favorites.

One particular user that he'd been following recently had an unusual history. Though he couldn't tell if the person was female or male, they made references to logging in during "down time weekends" and holidays. Their favorites list was relatively limited, and filled with a mix of high-quality lesbian scenes, female-oriented porn, male POV, romance, and "dare" stories.

More recently, he'd noticed that whomever the person was had been favoriting new content every weekend, and that more cars had been sitting outside of his neighbor's house on a regular basis. The thought that it might be one of the neighbor's daughters was enough to keep him satisfied when away from the keyboard. All three of them were very attractive. One was still in school, another had just recently graduated, and the oldest lived about an hour's drive away.

At the moment, John could hear the ring of a basketball hitting the pavement of their driveway.
