Later at noon, the lunches are served by the cooks who prepared meals from the animals that Dreyvel and the men who went with him for the hunts and fishing.
During the lunch in Dreyvel's family's hut, Ingra suggested the idea of leaving this forest for the Darkland, one of the kingdoms located across the sea.
But due to how far it is from where they are, the reception of this idea is mixed. Some do not wanted to leave. Some suggested go for the capital. But some actually supported the idea of going for Darkland.
When asked why they do not support this idea. Two problems are raised. The first one is the fact that they are right now living at Mirantia's western frontier near Obscuria. And to cross the entire country eastward and then northward overland and then crossing the sea to take refuge within Darkland's border is going to be a long and treacherous journey. And the second one is that Darkland has descended into political chaos because the ascension of Queen Jane resulted in the heads of many noble families to plot against each other in order to marry their sons to the Queen and secure the position of Prince Consort, thus making Darkland an unstable country for the time being.
However, Edward decided to come to her support by explaining that this political instability is the reason why Darkland did not join the war between the Allies and the Holy League and even also explaining to them that the chance of them getting caught in one of these plots are quite low if they are not residing in the capital or any major cities.
With his help, Ingra asked them to trust her decision in this. Seeing no other options in this, they all reluctantly agreed to this.
So in the next few days, everyone in the encampment has been preoccupied with packing their belongings and filling their food, water and medical supplies to the fullest for their departing day.
And when the day arrived, they all set out to search for their new lives in the Kingdom of Darkland.
