Update from the doctor

“Excuse me,” Shepard said as she approached Doctor Michel. “I was wondering if you could update me on Liara, Miranda, and Ashley.”

“Of course, Commander,” Dr Michel said. “All three of them are in various states of critical conditions. I need to be sure that they are able to be themselves again and survive.”

“Do you know how long that’d take,” Shepard asked.

“Likely at least 2 weeks,” Dr. Michel said. “Even though they are breathing regularly, they are not presently here. They’ve gone through too much trauma. In fact, I’m having the trauma team work on it.”

“Thank you,” Shepard said. “And the others?”

“Everyone else is fully recovered,” Dr. Michel said. “And since Dr. Chakwas is fully recovered, she’ll be able to help me in identifying anything I may have missed.

Shepard nodded. “Please let me know as soon as they are fully recovered,” Shepard said.

Dr Michel nodded and then left the room to talk with the trauma team.

Shepard gazed at Liara who had all sorts of tubes running in her and sighed. She gently caressed Liara’s cheek and said. “Get well soon, Liara.”

She kissed Liara’s forehead and pressed her forehead against hers.

After spending a little bit more time with Liara, Shepard finally sighed as she left the hospital and headed for the Normandy.
