Classic Roles (Johans)

“I can’t wear that,” Willow exclaimed as Buffy showed her a skimpy costume. “It’s basically nothing but lingerie. I was planning to go as a librarian.”

“Come on, Will, it’s Halloween, go as you’re not night,” Buffy said as she **** the outfit into Willow’s hands.

“What are you two ladies talking about?” Xander said as he came over.

“Just outfits,” Buffy said as she held up hers, “Just call me Officer Summers, keeping the town safe after all.”

“Well, it looks like we’re partners,” Xander said as he held up the sash with ‘Mayor’ on it. “I like to call this cost effective.”

They were interrupted as Joyce made her way over, “Hey, are you all meeting up at the house tonight?”

“Yeah, I know you’re headed out…” Buffy began.

“Actually, I thought I’d stay in,” Joyce replied. “There are a lot of chores that need to be done.”

“Wait? Seriously?” Buffy said in surprise. She’d never known her Mom to cancel plans to stay home.

“We’ll be happy to have you around,” Xander said with a big grin.

"Thank you, Xander. Hearing a mean...hearing you say that is so nice. I think I'll make cookies."

Buffy waited until her Mom walked away and then she smacked him on the butt, “You’re such a kiss up.”

Xander smirked as he rubbed his butt, Buffy hit hard, “Well, a Mayor has to be liked by the people.”

As Xander began to move through the shop easily talking to customers Willow grabbed a backup outfit. “Hey, Buff, what are you grabbing for Angel?”

“He doesn’t really get Halloween, so we’re keeping it simple,” Buffy said as she held up a ghost costume.

“Oh my god!” Cordelia shrieked with unneeded excitement as she twirled around. “I am just the cutest!”

Beside her Glory rolled her eyes, “Pink is so basic.”

Cordelia returned the eye roll, “Oh, like black make-up is so original.”

For a moment Glory debated ripping her in half, but reminded herself that she was here to enjoy Halloween. She wasn’t sure why the outfit came with a large push up bra, but if that’s what it meant to dress up she’d play her part.

Xander is dressed as: Mayor (Classy suit, big hat, sash with “Mayor” on it, town-key as prop) – Power-fantasy, commanding tone, winning smile

Buffy is dressed as: Police officer (Teeny tiny little uniform, comically small cap, demeaning phrase on her badge, fluffy cuffs and a suspiciously phallic-looking baton as props) – Starts erotically disciplining others

Willow is dressed as: Librarian (lots of layers, the lowest ones extremely skimpy, the outer ones very prudish, comically big glasses and a pin to keep the hair in a bun as props) – Starts teasing and tantalizing others with what may or may not lurk beneath her outer shell

Angel dressed as: Ghost (Costume is basically just a big white peace of fabric with eye-holes) – Becomes voyeuristic and elusive

Giles is dressed as: British dandy (Big puffy bathrobe and long sleep cap, pipe and book as props) – “I’m too old for this shit” aka seeks recluse

Cordy is dressed as: Daddys Girl (Pink attire, basically a nightgown, rainbow coloured knee-high socks) – Spoiled and bratty… Ok, so far no change in Cordelia

Joyce is dressed as: 50s/stepford housewife (dotted dress with apron above it, cleavage wide open, hair in a beehive) – Becomes domestic-minded

Glory is dressed as: “Big tiddy goth girlfriend” (A heavily cliche outfit to really hammer that loss of power home, should I send you a link over the site or do you have an image in mind?) – Grumpy shell, soft with boyfriend, basically “Yeah, the world will end, that sure sucks… Are we gonna cuddle or what?”
