Nova Girl awakens in the clutchs of Boogyman

When I came to my head was throbbing. What had happened. The last thing I remember was coming to this castle to capture a villian known as The Boogyman. After that, everything went black. It hurt my head to think about it. I tryed to raise my hands to rub my temples but realized that ropes spider-webbed my body. I squirmed to get out of my bonds but it was no use. THe knots where too well done. It then dawned me that it was very worm at my feet. I cranned my neck to see that I was laying on some kind of table next to a pit full of lava. And based on the look of the table, it was designed to lift up at an angle.

"Well well look who's awake." I looked up to see the Boogyman looming over me. "Goodie goodie. It's more fun when the victims are awake." I squirmed in my bonds. "Let me go you creep. Or you'll be sorry." He got down right next to me. I turned away at the smell of his breath, which was so vile I thought I was going to barf. "Sorry cutie pie but you aren't going anywhere. It's been awhile since I've had a toy to play with." He then backed off and walked back out of my feild of vision. "What are you going to do with me?" He came to a spot next to the table. He placed himself near a lever and a table. "You and I are going to play a little game honey. I'm going to roll the dice and for every bit I get, I'm going to crank the lever, which will cause that lovely table you are on to angle upwards." I gulped. "But what it I fall into the lava." Boogyman roared with laughter. "That's the point honey. Don't worry sweetthing. If I roll snake eyes, then we play a different game." "Why do I get the sense that wouldn't be preferrable."

He continued to laugh. "Let's play." He rolled the dice. "Ah, six." He cranked the lever six times. I felt the back end of the table lift up. I continued to squirm in my bonds but it was no use. No matter what I didn't I couldn't get loose. I heard the dice being rolled again. "OH!!! Eight." I continued to squirm as he cranked the lever again. As he got to seven I felt my body slide forward slightly!!! I stopped my struggles for fear I would slide further. I was breathing heavily as Boogyman laughed beside me. "You've had some bad luck here pretty lady. I have a feeling all it would take to finish the game is one more roll." He rolled the dice and my breath hitched. My life was hanging in the balance.
