On My Own

I am no longer Bethan the human I'm now a vampire. I have so many questions and I have a feeling my recently turned friends can't answer them. Where will I go to avoid the sun right now is chief among those questions.

Sunrise is only a few hours away and I really think I should leave this apartment building and find a suitable place to hide during the daylight. A place to hide not only from humans who might be hunting me but also from my fellow vampires.

I just don't know. Are my fellow vampires who seem to be almost feral a danger to me? Are there bands of human survivors out there hunting us? I know I can mesmerize humans but what else can I do? How often do I need too feed?

Well I know one thing for sure. I'm not gonna survive long enough to answer these questions if I continue to hang around here. So I leave the apartment building looking for shelter, avoiding both human and vampire as I search.

An hour after leaving the apartment building and avoiding detection by anyone I come across a house that appears empty. I try to enter but I can't. I do recall Sara telling me I have to be invited in before I can enter a home. I start peering into the windows to see any signs of life and find none.

Just what the Jolly Roger fuck am I supposed to do? Then it hits me. There's a restaurant up the street with a basement I might be able to hide in. After all I don't need an invitation to enter a public place right?
