looking if something is in the water
You have not forgotten that you seem to be stuck here.
The water around you is quite still but from up here you can see much better.
You see how the dirt and mud in the water moves.
All around you is something that looks like something is swirling up the bottom of the lake.
You might say you're surrounded.
"Well, are you stuck?" teases your treemaid.
"you probably aren't"
only a giggle comes back from her before she says "did you know that this kind of leech is edible"?
"What...?"
"yeah, if you're stuck here for a while it sure helps" she says with amusement and adds
"they taste especially good 3 hours after they' ve eaten".
a bit disgusted you answer "okay... you must know".
she smirks at you
"what are you doing here in the swamp anyway?"
"well the rich and beautiful seem to like to dump valuable things here and i hope for a good find"
"Valuable stuff" she looks at you confused.
"Yeah, like gold or gems."
She laughs.
"What's so funny?"
"Well, you humans are strange."
A moment of silence and she looks at you, fully anticipation.
you sigh: "okay okay so...."
what do you say
You are an individual of a poor house who is exploring the revolting swamp where the kingdom dumps all its waste and anything else disgusting. They call it he CessPonds. Somewhere within lies the treasure of a careless nobleman who' chest of gold and jewels was mistakenly lost, but many nasty and strange things call this place home. Any number of them could quickly end your quest. Can you make it through the swamp and retrieve the riches or become another victim of the CessPond's inhabitants? That's up to you.
