Minutes later, you once again find yourself jogging through the streets, slightly behind the unicorn. People's heads turn to look at the beautiful steed as you race the oncoming storm.

Finally reaching the large tavern building emitting a warm glow into the oncoming twilight, you quickly push open the doors and head into the bustling interior. Scantily clad for an adventurer, you draw a few gazes from the patrons as you approach the front desk. "I-I would like to sign up as an adventurer." you say timidly to a half elf behind the counter, shocking red hair cascading around her pointed face.

"Hand on the magic rock" She says simply, sliding a lazulite testing stone over to your side of the wooden counter. You feel prying eyes around the room on you as you place your hand on the rock, a visible status window appearing in the air in front of you. "Woah, a rare!" The red-haired half elf says with a wink as the word Ranger is revealed to the room. "Here, let me get you the paperwork and your ID, welcome to the Fort Prairie Adventuring Guild."

A small cheer goes up through the room, invitations from various parties sitting at different tables are thrown out.

"Your room is on us if you're a newbie, here's your key." the clerk says cheerfully.

The lady gives you an appraising look before shrugging "Suit yourself. I'd recommend making plans with one of the low level parties before you turn in though."

"Yes Mam!" you say looking for some of the adventurers that called to you earlier.

You quickly meet up with a recently formed and unnamed group of you adventurers comprised of a male human fighter, female elf wizard, and a half elf rogue that looked younger than you. You make brief plans to regroup in the morning with your new party as your mind urges you to the stables back towards your companion.
