A rustling bush!

You hear something in the bushes behind you. Carefully, you look back. You can't see anything through the thick of the bushes. "Hello..?" you call out. Something snarled at you as a response. "Oh shit! I think that's a lion or something!" you think to yourself, a bead of sweat running down your forehead. You had no weapons on you and your bag was back at your camp all you had was some thick sticks that you got from searching for firewood.

The bushes move some more, the creature was getting closer. You back up slowly, holding the stick in front of you... Suddenly, you see red eyes through the green bushes, a black, wet nose and a muzzle with sharp looking teeth protruding from it. Whatever it was, it wasn't a lion... It looked like more of a dog than a cat from what you could see.

The thing sniffed the air and then growled loudly which bursted out into a roar. "Oh shit.." you say out loud.
