Cat next

When Tori and Res became visible once more, Jade West no longer existed. Now everyone viewed Jade as the unique pet she was.

Tori and Res sat at their table for lunch. Cat joined them, since Trina had yet to finish her task.

"Guys," Cat said. As far as she knew, Res was now part of the group. "I know this is gonna sound crazy, but I feel like someone is missing."

"No, they aren't," Tori huffed. "Well, the boys aren't here because they went on that trip."

"Aw, Res, did you not get to go?" Cat asked.

"I chose not to go," Res shrugged. He felt a tug on the leash and saw Jade was resting her head on Cat's lap, clearly begging for food.

Cat stroked her former friend's hair and gave her a fry.

"Well," Cat said. "I think it's downright romantic that you chose to stay with Tori."

"I can't look after Jade myself," Tori said, fervently kissing Res. She then put Cat under.

"Cat," Tori said. "I'm not sure what to make you...you're alwqys so happy and bubbly, so....aha!"

Tori whispered in Cat's ear, clearly wanting whatever she was programming her as to be a surprise for Res. Whem it was done, she snapped her fingers.

Cat immediately gave a smile. "Master, Mistress. How can I serve you?"

"Well," Tori said. "My feet hurt."

"Say no more. I'm here to serve you."

Cat dove under the table to give Tori a massage. Clearly, Cat was now a devoted, loving ****.

Res saw Trina enter the lunch line and glance at their table. Because they were invisible again, Trina didn't see them.
