A polished wand

You don't have a very good view of what Siora is rummaging through. The only clues you get are the occasional item she sets aside to get it out of the way. You see a few sheathed daggers and amulets among the items set aside. Seeing these gets you curious of what else is inside this chest.

You step around Siora, trying to get a better angle to see what kinds of other the trinkets she has in storage. Just as you get a full view of the inside of the chest she turns, holding something out to you. It is a wand made from a single gnarled piece of wood, lacquered and polished to a smooth finish. Fitted into the top, held in place by claw-like branches, is a large, perfectly-spherical pearl. When you take the wand in your hand, you aren't sure if your eyes are deceiving you or if the pearl does actually start glowing just ever so slightly.

"Ooh yes, I knew this would be perfect for you!" Siora praises, seemingly confirming the slight glow that you weren't sure was real or not. You turn the wand over, looking at it from all sides, wondering what kind of power is contained in it. Siora takes your hand in hers, holding the wand in both of your grasps.

The wand responds by increasing its glow. Though it is still subtle, the faint light shimmering on the surface of the pearl is undeniable. "It's so pretty," you half-whisper as you stare into the orb.

"Isn't it?" Siora excitedly replies. "And it's so helpful, too. If you cast a spell while holding it, your magic will get amplified."

"All I need to do is hold it?" you wonder, wondering how this stone can intensify your spells.

"Yep! That's it! Want to try it now?" Siora offers. "We can go outside for you to test it."
