Chapter 22 by bsnick

How does Bria answer?

No no, of course not!

"What? No! It's just, um..." Bria tried to think of a reason to object, but she'd just been on her way to make a porno, why would it matter if she did another. And if anything of what they said was true she could be discovered through the movie. The more exposure the better, right?

"Okay," she said, shrugging. "But shouldn't it be filmed at night?"

"Nah, we don't have a lighting crew. Anyway, hookers works during the day too."

"Come on," the first one said, turning to walk away.

Bria scampered to keep up, feelings mixed about the whole thing. When they led her to a car she hesitated again before telling herself that a car meant they could drive her to her appointment. Heartened by the thought she peered into the backseat. "What's all that?" she asked, seeing clothes and lumps throughout the backseat.

"Clothes, of course," they told her, and she flushed a bit at the derision in their voices.

"I mean, why do you have them?"

"Because acting means looking the part. So we have costumes. I think we've got what you need for your role. Check it out," he said, openingthe door for her.

"Um, okay," Bria said hesitantly, but as soon as she got in her nervousness evaporated at the sight of so many clothes strewn throughout the back-seat. There was even a makeup kit, she realized. No one who wasn't in the film business would have all this crap in their car, she thought.

Bria barely registered the two getting in, or the car leaving the curb. She found a few articles of clothing she thought would be perfect.

"Hey, what kind of prostitute am I?" she asked innocently.

"Trashy, of course. You're what, eighteen?" they asked. Bria nodded. "That's getting close to being over the hill. You'd be really experienced and aware that your best days are being left behind."

"Yeah," the other chimed in from behind the wheel. "You've got to really advertise the wares, make it obvious so a John doesn't drive by thinking you're not for sale."

"And don't forget the makeup. Guys can't see you too well from the cars..." the other began, but Bria waved him off.

"I know all about that. I'll put it on heavy. How about this?" she held up a pair of lycra shorts that would've ridden high up her crack.

The guys shook their heads. "It's all about easy access. Remember, you're losing ground so you're trying to make it as easy as possible to go from one customer to another. Have as little clothes as possible between the goods and the customer."

Bria nodded, picking out a suitably trashy ensemble, if it could be called that. Then she realized she had nowhere to change. "Um, where do I change?"

"Um, where do I change?"
