He goes Home.

Peter got back to his apartment and swung into his room landing silently on the wooden floorboards near his bed. He pulled off his mask slowly and sat down on the end of his bed getting ready to watch the news in hope that something would be on TV. He pulled off the shirt of his costume and folded it slowly putting it in a drawer of his dresser before flicking on the old television.

He listened to the news as he changed out of his costume pants and into something a little bit more practical to watch the news. He blinked as a commercial about some new kind of cat food flashed across the screen telling him where he could call to get it and all the special offers if he called right then.

Peter sighed softly as he went for a bathroom break during the commercial break. He closed the door after entering the room just in case his landlord rushed in to collect payments or scream at him for missing one that he hadn’t known about.

When he got out of the bathroom the TV had mysteriously turned off leaving the room under a thick veil of darkness. He blinked trying to let his eyes adjust from the light of the bathroom to the darkness that he now stood in. After a few moments he saw that he had an intruder.
