To practice his "moves" on a "girl"

Jessie runs his fingers through his hair. "Well, there?s this girl, you see. I've had my eye on her for a long time, but it's only now that I think I have a shot at her..."

You hold up your hand. "Look, no need to be all vague. I already know you have a crush on Sara."

But Jessie shakes his head. "Don't worry, I'm over your sister. This is someone new."

"Oh," you say. You're glad that Jessie won't be lurking around your sister anymore, but you have to admit you're surprised. This new girl must be quite the catch.

"Anyway," Jessie plunges on, enthusiasm bubbling. "I'm planning to, ah, confess to her soon. I've recently been reading this great book called 'Take Charge of Your Woman' and I think if I follow what it says, I can get her to be my girlfriend."

"'Take Charge of...'," you snort. "That sounds like new age hogwash Jessie."

"Hey!" Jessie protests. "It's a bestseller I'll have you know. Like that book, 'Think Like a Man, giggle like a girl.'"

"I think you got the title wrong genius," you say, then giggle girlishly, covering your mouth with a delicate hand.

You blink, then lower your hand, blushing. What the hell was that? "Fine, whatever," you say, trying to change the subject. "I still don't know what any of this has to do with me."

Jessie suddenly finds his shoes very interesting. "Well, I need to practice the strategies in the book... But I'd be too embarrassed to try them on an actual girl. But? if it were someone who only looked like a girl..."

Suddenly everything clicked, and you feel as if the floor has dropped out from beneath you.

"You CAN'T be serious," you say, in a strangled voice. "No. No way! I brought you here precisely to get me changed back and now you want me to actually pretend to be a girl?"

"Come on," Jessie says, "You already agreed right? A favor for a favor? I won't tell anyone about it, and you won't either, so what's the harm?" He gets a weird look in his eyes. "I know you {firstname}. I know you can't break a promise."

You're about to refuse again, but feel a wave of vertigo hit you. Dammit, he's right, you did promise... but, it's not like you've never broken a promise to Jessie before? But, why does even thinking about reneging this time make you want to vomit? Is it because this time, he's been so nice to you? So helpful?

While you're struggling to think, Jessie steps up to you and takes one of your hands in his hands, his warm, strong hands.

"Please {firstname}? I'm begging you here... You want to be a good friend, right?
