Saving Cyndi

The possibility of causing a distraction seems has been cut short. You brought Cyndi out her so you her life is in your hands. Slowly you step through the fence making your way towards the two men and Cyndi.

“Leave her alone.” You shout at them.

The two men turn to face you, levelling their guns at you. You put both hands into the air and make your way towards them. You stop beside the car door not wanting to get any closer to them. The man who had his gun trained on Cyndi starts to speak to his comrade.

“It’s him.” He tells him.

“Look we don’t want any trouble, we we’re just out her having a little fun that’s all we didn’t know we’re trespassing.” You say trying to bluff them.

“Stay where you are. I will shoot her if you make any sudden moves.” The man who spoke earlier said.

You come closer to them still holding your hands above your head. You realise they’re not going to let you go willingly, you just need to get the glasses of one of them so you can use your power. You continue you heading towards the closest one, stopping inches away from him. He backs off slightly wondering what you’re going to do. He pulls his gun up so it’s pointing at your forehead.

“Take one more step and I will kill you.” He shouts.

You stand for a moment trying to make it look like you’re willing to do as he says. “Look I don’t want any trouble, just let her go.” You say.

You lunge at the guy and punch him in the side of the head making him drop his gun. you nearly loses his balance and your blow knocked the glasses from his face, revealing to blue eyes. You grab him by the collar before he can react, and stare him right in the eyes.

“Let me and her go and take out your friend here.” You shout at him.

While you were hitting his partner the other guy grabbed Cyndi by the throat, pressing his gun against her temple. His friend stands there in front of you a little dazed.

“Try that again and I’ll kill her.” The one threatening Cyndi tells you.

You turn to face him staring him in his glasses covered eyes. You’re about to say something when the man next to you punches you in the stomach. You double over in pain, collapsing to the floor.

“Try that again and he’ll kill her.” He tells you

“If you come with us we’ll let her live.” The other one tells you.

“Okay.” You reply, wondering why your power didn’t work.

You see the man release Cyndi from the neck hold he had on her. The man in front of you walks round behind you aiming his gun at you the whole time. You’re suddenly deafened by the sound of gunfire filling the air, then a white hot pain streaks through your body as you feel your leg burning with pain. You put your hand down to try and stop the bleeding.

“You bastard.” You shout.

“It’ll heal.” You hear from behind you.

Then your world goes black as he strikes you on the back the head with his gun.
