Choices come in all shades

Tom came back home from the grocery store and almost immediately Amorina hopped out and after helping bring in the bags to the kitchen, excused herself to her room to finish up her homework. He wondered what the coin had done to her life, having actually changed her to an 18 year-old girl in her final year of high school and making her his biological daughter.

"Hey popsicle," called out his youngest, Alianna, who came into the kitchen to help put away some of the cans into the pantry. She was short, like her mother, and even Amorina, at 5'5", contrasted against his 6'4" frame. Amorina was 18, Arianna was 16, and Alianna was 14. He cracked a joke that there was some sort of pattern there but all he got was an eye-roll from the middle one, who was swimming laps in the backyard pool.

Did he forget that he had a house with a pool now?

He had gone to his office afterwards, a home office that was just as nice as any corporate office he remembered seeing before. Whereas he was something of a corporate **** in his normal life with Sarah, here things could not be any more different. Hell, he wasn't even in marketing anymore but had gone on to Sports Medicine and was now attached to a medical practice downtown that worked with various schools and the university. He noticed pictures of himself on the field with various members of the football team, his alma mater from the looks of things, and there were office group photos too. The oddest thing about the picture, though, was the simple fact that none of the other people in there were men.

Not a single one.

He leafed through the papers and found himself reviewing some documents, somehow his mind had seemed to pick up on it quickly and without any concern to the time, Tom had sat down in front of his laptop and sent off some emails on patient files. It was only after he logged off did he realize that he had spent several hours working on patient files, doing something he had never done before prior to the wish of the coin. But it was supposed to only impact Sarah, right? How did it change HIM to fit her life?

He walked out of his home office and turned to peek into the living room where the three girls were sitting, their phones on their laps, and otherwise conversing about things that he would rather just step back and leave alone. For her part, Amorina was laughing and joking around with the other two and he was happy, knowing how shitty her relationship with her other sister had been. The mixture of english and spanish flew between the three of them and he stood there for a few moments, watching, before he noticed that Amorina had glanced up at him and smiled meekly, her face blushing slightly, and he just waved before he turned and walked back, heading first to the kitchen to grab a coke before turning and walking into the bedroom. The master bedroom was pretty big and, from his old life as a handyman (around the house, mostly, but he DID build it), the insulation was pretty good. The size, too, was nice and the walk-in closet told him enough why the house was bought.

"Honey?" his wife, Miranda, called out from the bathroom.

"Yeah, babe?"

The woman peeked out and smiled as she saw him. "Listen, the girls were going out for dinner tonight, it's some sort of school function. I've got to drop by my sister's house for a few hours to help with the baby. Think you can find something to do for dinner?"

He looked down at her, the robe was barely on and what it did over, though, was only fair game as he stepped forward and embraced her, pulling her body to him even as she was still wet from the shower. A small gasp escaped her lips before she leaned back and returned the kiss he was giving her, pressing her hands firmly on his ass and pulling him against her. "Mmm...damn, it's been that long already? Seems like we've never kissed before..."

Tom just laughed before he let her go and gave her a playful swat on the butt, causing her to squeak and hop. "Sure, I'll be fine. Just give me a call if you need a lift afterwards, okay? I know Selina can drink." Who the F is Selina? Oh yeah, her sister...

Just as he turned to walk back to the kitchen, Tom felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He pulled it out and looked at the caller before he swiped to answer. "Hi, Mr. Saunders! This is..."
