Kurenai & Tenten

"Tenten hi!" Kurenai gushed, as she entered her living room. She wrapped the bun-headed kunochi up in a big friendly hug and swayed her this way and that. "Thank you so much for watching Mirai. Mmmmm." She squeezed even harder. "You are so sweet."

"Oh." Tenten awkwardly returned the hug. She knew the older woman was going out with her friends, she must have been drinking. She was usually so calm and reserved. "Don' worry about it. My schedule was clear." She looked at Kurenai, she'd definitely been clubbing. She was surprised. Kurenai was such a natural beauty, but she looked even more flawless with makeup, she was so pretty tonight.

"You are so sweet." Kurenai pinched Tenten's cheek. "Mmm, you are so cute! How do you not have a boyfriend?"

Tenten sighed. "Beats me."

After what felt like a minute Kurenai released Tenten. "Oooooooh!" She gushed running over to the nearby crib where her daughter was laying. "My baby! I missed you sooo much!" She lifted the baby up and snuggled her so close. She looked at Mirai then at Tenten. "How is my baby soooooo cute?" She asked in genuine disbelief.

This was so weird. Tenten laughed nervously. "Good genes."

"She's too cute!" Kurenai started sniffling. "I can't take it." She then started full-on crying, as she rocked her precious baby back and forth.

"Oh my goodness." Tenten was so weirded out by this. "Uh, Kurenai I'm going to head out. You have fun with your breakdown."

Kurenai sniffled. "But I haven't paid yet." She started to come closer, but Tenten held up her hands to stop her.

"It's okay! You just take it easy, maybe get some rest. Maybe go to the doctor tomorrow, huh?"

"You're so sweet." She sniffed and smiled down at the cooing Mirai. "Feel free to come back if you want to see my cute baby again!"

"Will do!" Tenten opened the door, and shut it behind her as soon as possible. "That must be what menopause looks like." She thought aloud. Just a bit away she saw Naruto, who looked like he'd been expecting her. "Hey." She waved a hand his way.

"Kurenai said you were in there." She said with a boyish giggle.

"She was acting, so weird. Did you think so?"

He shook his head, still grinning. "Nope, she seemed normal when she talked to me. Listen, I have a question for you."

"Shoot."

Well, Naruto was planning on shooting after he asked his question, but that was just too good to pass up."

Zap!

"You're the best marksman in the village right?"

Tenten blushed, her boyish cheeks much plumper and better suited to the gesture thanks to Naruto. "Sure am." She put her hand to her heart. "Thank you so much for saying that."

"Great!" He grabbed her hand, and began to pull her down the hallway. "I need you for a prank I want to pull on Grandma Tsunade."

A prank? She giggled to herself. She'd never done one of those before, she was pretty straight-laced. But... Naruto was a pretty fun guy. Just grabbing her hand and pulling her along was fun, so she let him do it some more. At least until she got bored. As she was pulled away she noticed that they passed Hinata who was trying to stay hidden behind a corner. Tenten smiled and waved at her as they passed. Hinata just blushed and buried her face in her scarf. "So cute!" Tenten giggled.

They eventually got to a very tall building, and from there Naruto pointed her towards the Hokage's Mansion and a window through which they could see Tsunade. "Think you could hit her from here?"

Tenten frowned, and it was hard to do. "What are you talking about? Hit her with what?"

"This."

Zap!

"It's just a little laser pointer."

Tenten smiled. Naruto was so funny. "Um, sure, I bet I could get her!"
