Hide in the closet

Without thinking, you sprint over to the closet. It is the only place to hide. For the first time, you’re thankful that your wife spends a boatload on clothes and you have a walk-in closet. You close the door behind you, and a second later, Tina storms into the room and looks around. Sarah is just behind her and sighs in relief, thankful that you’ve managed to hide.

Even though there is no sign that anything is out of place, Tina is still not convinced. She knows Sarah better than anybody.

“Sarah, I know something is up. Why won’t you tell me?” Tina cajoles as she tries to guilt her best friend into spilling her secret.

You’re starting to worry that Sarah might break, when you suddenly hear crying.

“Teddy came by ……… sniffle …. and he wanted to …. you know,” Sarah starts to tell Tina. You imagine how big fake tears are now rolling down her rosy cheeks. Apparently Sarah is quite the actress.
