Ogling and thinking ahead

Carmen laughed. "That IS fair" she said, "but there's not a lot to ogle on a man. It's not like you have cleavage you can display."

"I could pull my pants down and moon you?" you suggested.

"I mean, that would show me cleavage but I'm not a butt kind of girl" Carmen said.

"Oh? Then what are you?" you asked.

"I dunno. I like abs on a guy" Carmen replied. "You know, just sporty guys."

You smiled, sipping your rum slowly. "Is that why you play volleyball?" you asked.

"Nah, that's just to wind down. Watching guys in tight shorts is a bonus" she said. "Surely you feel the same?"

"What, looking at guys in tight shorts? No thanks" you said with a laugh.

"I meant girls, smartass" Carmen said, laughing too.

"Alright, alright. I confess. I've occasionally cast a glance at my fellow club members. Happy now?" you said with a smile.

"That's all I want. A handsome boyfriend that's honest" Carmen replied.

"Yeah? Well, I got honesty, if you want it" you said. "You look good in that dress, for one."

"Thanks, but I knew that. You keep leering at my boobs" she said.

"Yeah, sorry about that" you told Carmen, who shrugged, drawing your attention to said boobs again.

"Don't worry about it. I like the attention. Besides, why else would I have worn it?" she replied.

Your date was coming to an end and you were feeling pretty good about seeing Carmen again. It wasn't like you were going to fuck her on the first date, but your chances of going on a second date were fairly high, you figured. As the two of you finished your desserts you looked up at her.

"Oh, by the way" you told Carmen.

"Yeah?" she asked.

"I'm paying" you said.

"You can't do that" she replied, "Debbie's basically paid for a date for each of us."

"I'm sure she has, but I just wouldn't feel right accepting it" you told Carmen.

"You're such a gentleman" she said with a smile, "more reason to go on another date with you."

"More? What, were you keeping score?" you asked.

"I suppose I was. It comes naturally. I am a ref for the little ones, you know" she said.

"No, I didn't. The youngest players I see are Dawn and Simone" you said.

"She's so sweet" Carmen said with a smile.

"Yeah, Dawn's a sweetheart. Do you get along with her well?" you wanted to know.

"I do. And now with her brother too, it seems" she said.

"It would seem so. So, where are we going to go next?" you asked.

"Next?" a surprised Carmen asked.

"Well, I insisted on paying but since Debbie's covering the meal I figured I'd take you somewhere and pay for that" you told her.

"If you're offering, how about...?"
