Chapter 32

What's next?

Switcheroo

April pulled David to the side as she whispered her idea into her boyfriend's ear, the young man's lips curling into an evil smile. Lauren was too busy eating to notice what was going on before April interrupted her thoughts.

"Laurie!" April scolded, a little too loudly as the little woman let out a small squeak. "I knew we should have asked for a bib for you, you little messy eater!"

Lauren was confused at first, only to look down and blush furiously as she saw the cheese sauce on her chest and face from how she had been eating absentmindedly. Good grief! She looked even MORE like a little girl now!

Before Lauren could even say anything, April removed the tray from the highchair, sitting it on the table before lifting the little woman out of it. April then grabbed Lauren by the wrist and led her to the bathroom, the latter whimpering in embarrassment as she waddled along while the former gave David a wink over her shoulder. Her boyfriend merely nodded in response as both women stepped into the bathroom.

In the bathroom, April grabbed Lauren by her hips and lifted her onto the sink, sitting her down on the countertop as she grabbed some paper towels and ran them under some water. Lauren shrieked as the paper towel touched her chest.

"That's freezing!" Lauren whimpered as she felt April clean her chest, teasingly going over her tiny bug bites as well.

"Oh, hush!" April said with a chuckle as she got another paper towel and began to wipe the cheese off Lauren's face, making sure to remove any make-up from the little woman's face in the process.

Once that was done, April threw the paper towels away before lifting Lauren off the counter. Grabbing the little woman by the wrist again, April lead her back out into the restaurant where the former saw David give her a knowing nod and smile. April smiled back as she placed Lauren back into the highchair and snapped the tray back into place.

Lauren was just about to go back to eating when the waitress came back with a white cloth that had cartoon versions of food on it. She sighed as the waitress tied the velcro of the bib around her neck before walking away again, April thanking the waitress. Lauren muttered to herself as she continued to eat the mac and cheese before placing the sippy cup to her lips.

That's when Lauren noticed that something felt... Off. Went she had left for the bathroom with April, the sippy cup was practically empty, so obviously the waitress must have given her a refill. But unlike the last grape juice, this one tasted a little more tart and yet a little more sweet. Lauren smacked her lips, but she still couldn't place it. She took another sip, but still couldn't figure out what was off other than the taste. And the fact that the sippy cup made it impossible for her to take a full drink didn't help things.

April, however, knew exactly what was off about Lauren's drink. The waitress hadn't refilled the sippy cup with grape juice, David had filled it with the wine. April knew how much of a lightweight Lauren was when **** was involved. Not enough for the little woman to pass out, but more than enough so that Lauren would make herself look even more like an idiot.

April merely took a bite of her seafood risotto and smiled as she watched Lauren take another sip from her sippy cup, waiting for the show to begin.
