Artaria Drakon, Princess of the High Isles

Artaria Drakon is the second born daughter of Uriel Drakon and princess of the High Isles. The High Isles is part of Britannia which used to be part of the Empire. Unfortunately, at the time that Artaria was born, the Empire was beginning to lose power and was **** to withdraw their military forces from Britannia, causing it to break apart into smaller separate countries. This was the beginning of the Dark Wars as the divided Britannia fought for control.
Uriel was the current ruler of the High Isles and Artaria's older sister, Morgan Drakon, was next in line for the throne. As Morgan would be queen, Artaria would be a knight. However, Uriel had a brother, Vortisax Drakon, who came into contact with the White Dragon. The dragon granted a portion of his power to Vortisax and told him that it was his destiny to unite Britannia. Vortisax went on to amass the Church of the White Dragon.
By now, Artaria was 18 years old. She and Morgan were blonde, though Morgan had longer hair. Artaria was sparring with fellow knights when Vortisax's forces attacked the High Isles. Artaria gathered her knights and ordered them to fight off her uncle's forces. Unfortunately, the Church of the White Dragon proved too much. Artaria was barely able to make it to the throne room where Uriel was duelling Vortisax.
Uriel was the more skilled fighter but Vortisax had been empowered by the White Dragon and breathed fire into his brother. Artaria herself tried to fight Vortisax but she proved no better. Vortisax was about to slay Artaria when he heard his master.
"Do not slay this girl. I need her."
Vortisax had Artaria and Morgan placed in the dungeon.
