Chapter 96 by Nicegent42
What's next?
Not so great start to Monday.
Sitting inside her pink Audi, Jodie ran her red nailed tipped fingers over the steering wheel as the car idled in park inside Mega Corps parking garage. "How can I like love this car and hate it at the same time?" It handled like a dream, and Jodie could never have imagined having her own Audi, but the thing was pink. Sure it fit the image she had to portray and she guessed it could be changed once Adam broke up with her. Jodie pursed her lips and blew out some air. She was soooo happy that Eric said he loved her. It was wild and amazing and yet when she thought of her blonde boyfriend, the man that bought a bunch of cakes to find her favorite, shared Disney with her because it was his favorite place as a kid, she felt a little guilty and sad that he would be gone. Part of her knew it was for the best, with all the horrible things he did to her, making her practically live out the actresses role in porn she used to watch. Yet she couldn't deny feeling a desire for him, what once she would have balked at because it was gay, but now she only thought of how she loved the praise and attention.
Growing up Jordan was the example of bad attention was still attention, and that mentality had a major impact on who Jodie was now. He didn't want to be found out as a man dressed as a woman, but people looking at him in admiration was what he always wanted. He didn't want to be on his knees eye level with another man's package and the act of well anything was disgusting, yet when Adam or Eric told him he was wonderful, it felt great. Honest praise for something he did and slowly Jordan sunk into Jodie wanting that praise. Now she was getting out of the car in her tight and short red skirt just long enough to not show the tops of her dark stockings. She put her heeled feet together as she bent over to glance at herself in the driver's side mirror. Today she wore a pair or pointed toe six inch red pumps that had a thin leather strap that went across her ankle. By the end of day her feet were not exactly happy, but lately if she was barefoot she still had to walk in the ball of her foot or it would be worse than a day walking in the stilts that were her uniform. Satisfied with how her makeup looked she adjusted the black sleeveless blouse that had ruffles around the buttons. Today she had it buttoned almost to the top to only show a hint of cleavage, but doing so brought the buttons close to giving way if she moved in the wrong way. She ran her long nails through her red mane of hair that she had added curls to after seeing how she looked with them on Saturday night at the club.
Inside the elevator she could feel the two men eyeing her up and couldn't help a little grin. "Say, you look beautiful today." Said one of the men behind her. Not sure who spoke she turned to the side to look at the two. "Like thanks!" She beamed her red lipped smile at them. "Always important to let a gal know her efforts are appreciated. Say, Monday's can always be rough. How about after work the two of us get a drink?" She could see now it was the older man talking to her and thought of how gross the idea of doing anything with him, or the other man. He wasn't ugly, but it seemed that while she liked the attention she wasn't attracted to men… well so far only two men. That was something she would have to consider, but it wasn't important now. "Honestly that sounds like so good and I would love to take you up on it." Jodie let loose a little flirty giggle. "But like my boyfriend Mr. Wesker doesn't like to share." Jodie gave a little pout and added. " Sorry." The idea of telling him no didn't even cross her mind, only that she didn't know who he was and that Adam was the perfect excuse. If this guy was low on the corporate ladder the name would keep him at bay, if hecwas higher than Adam he would stay away to keep an excellent worker happy. "Too bad darling, we could have had fun."
At the word fun Jodie thought back to Sunday with Eric. They were having a picnic in central park, with the best thing Jodie could reliably make for lunch, sandwiches. They had walked around, watched the kids play in the splash pad area, did some people watching while they held hands. Then shechad given Eric a hand job under one of the blankets she packed. It was cute how he protested and even stopped her hand once, but once she got him hard in her hand his protests subsided and she got what she wanted. She gotta see her man happy, everyone is happy right after they orgazim and she could be the cause of it. She had licked her hand clean as Eric, her man sat catching his breath. It was a fun day. "I do like to have fun." Jodie said with a smile unaware of the reaction her teasing was having in him. When the elevator opened on her floor only the older man was left, she turned to him and smiled again. "Have a great day!" She said cheerfully with a wink before mincing off into her floor. She did hope his day was good, some of the guys would touch her or keep pushing to spend quality time with her, but he didn't do any of that. Her day was starting out okay, with Eric giving her a gentle kiss and reminding her he would be staying in Jersey for most of the week for the start of a new project. She wished she had been awake enough to give him a proper send off. That wasn't great, but Lauren was gone. She said she was staying at Marcis's place and he would get her to work. Things had been okay with her after the explanation of Adam, but not perfect and Jodie was happy to not have to answer any more touch questions and hoped none would be waiting for her when the two carpooled back home after work.
When Jodie got within sight of her desk she saw a familiar face, Janet was leaning on her desk like she used to for morning inspection. She was always a good looking woman, but looking at her now gone was her pants suit, instead she wore a professional woman's skirt suit that fit her in all the right ways. She also had done more with her makeup and it reminded Jodie that she was still attracted to woman, and very much still to this one in particular. "Good morning!" Jodie said in the happy tones she always used around the office. "You look like." Jodie gave a visible look at Janet up and down. "Hot today, specially occasion?" Janet stopped leaning on the desk and put her purse back on her shoulder. " Janet had been watching her ex-boyfriend, turned slutty secretary move through the office and knew she was to blame partially for forging Jordan into this, and hated that she felt jealous of how he… she looked and really hated that Jordan was dating the man she pined after. The relationship was fake according to Jordan, but it was obvious the way she looked captivated the man, and the only way to have a chance was for her to catch his eye. Sure she had someone right now, but he was like a dumber version of who she wanted and so she found herself competing at least in her mind for Eric's attention. She had already planned on taking a partial day to go visit her man and bring him lunch, and just so happened to get an extra that Eric could have. The new project they were working on was only an hour with traffic. "Aww thank you, but no. I just wanted to look nice today, now how about we go powder our noses?"
Jodie knew that meant she wanted to talk in private, yet she couldn't help herself from checking her makeup the second she was in front of the mirror. "I wanted to give you back your phone, and I'm sorry about us missing it. I'm sure that made things worse with you and Eric." While it wasn't on purpose it was excellent as it gave her a chance to connect with him while Jodie was away. Sure he didn't accept the invitation to go out and get a drink, but he seemed more than happy to hear Jordan was sensitive at times and had done something like this with her when they were dating. He was high at the time, but she left that part out. "I also wanted to apologize for coming on to you. I…" Janet still wasn't feeling good about the rejection, they had sex more than a few times and being told no by someone that was a slut before he strutted around the office in heels was hard. She wasn't sure if it was her or if Jodie just wanted men now, but none of that got to come out as Jodie shook her head and looked like she was tearing up. "No, no Janet, don't apologize! It was like so hard to say no to you and like the idea of it… looking at you now makes me want to do things to you and like with you. I have just fucked up so much and like can't do that to Eric."
"So it's not about me, but about men?" That felt good at least for Janet. Jodie tilted her head slightly. "Kinda, I guess." Janet nodded at her friend. "He didn't care when we were doing it before, I recall seeing him give you a fist bump the first time you brought me to your apartment. Besides you said he was your boyfriend just as cover." She was sure Jodie applied skillful attention to him with her new found enjoyment of men to help keep him agreeing to the role, but that wasn't a relationship. If it was who she was dating now would count and it definitely did not. "What if it was real? Like what if he said he loved me?" Jodie said it in a small voice, but she had a big smile on her face. Janet took a step back from her friend and gave her an appraising look as if looking at her could see into the past at what she was talking about. "Of course he does, you two have been best friends since you were children, but that isn't the same love you are thinking." Now she felt bad for Jordan, buying into the story just because it would be easier, would be better if it were real. "No, he like did this big gest… he did this big thing and told me and we like well we had fun right there."
Janet shook her head and put her hands on Jodie's shoulders and turned her to the mirror. "Look at you Jodie, look at your chest and your makeup covered blue eyes. Think back to a year ago, imagining looking into that woman's eyes and tell me you wouldn't have told her you love her so that she avails herself to you." Jordan had done such things, no one really meant they loved them. It was just a word… Eric meant it. As Jodie looked at herself up and down, examining her face a small speck of doubt crept in. Eric wasn't like that, he wouldn't do something to manipulate her and yet Janet's words found purchase. Jodie was just a man pretending to be a woman, he was a good man and deserved a good woman. He had chosen her though… didn't he? Seeing sorrow cross over Jodie's face Janet gave her friend a hug from behind. Jodie was taller thanks to the six inch heels compared to her four, taller than she normally wore to the office. "It's okay, the truth can be hard sometimes. Just remember you have people that care about you and I know he does too, just not that way." Jodie knew she was wrong, she was positive, almost one hundred percent positive. "What… what if you're wrong?" Jodie's voice was small again as she looked at Janet through the mirror. Janet smiled back at her in the reflective surface. "Then you will be one of the lucky ones." And I will still be one of the unlucky ones, she added mentally. "And since I know you like me, you can invite me around. I have never met a man that didn't have fantasies about a three way." Janet put her hand on Jodie's rear as she said that. "In fact, no matter the truth you should bring it up, I know you have that fantasy."
Janet left Jodie to her boss who looked none too happy that Jodie was now a few minutes late for work, at least according to the last time Jodie got back to her desk after the official start time and she didn't want to deal with the arrogant man. Adam had a frown on his face as he looked at Jodie as Janet walked away. "Miss Applebottom, you are late for work." Jodie shook her head making her large hooped earrings to sway ong with her curled hair. "No, like.." Adam made a slashing motion to make her stop. "Come into my office and we can discuss your tardiness and back talk. Just because we have a relationship doesn't mean you get to take advantage of it." Jodie's eyes went wide, she wasn't trying to talk back and she wasn't sure why he was so angry at her. She wondered if he found out about Eric or worse about her secret.
