Faint trail. New dangers.

Helina looked at the sensor as Sado disengaged from the Frobisher and used the station-keeping thrusters to ease away from the ship. She deployed a beacon to alert passing ships that the vessel was now under police investigation. The sensor did its sweep and suddenly locked onto a faint ion trail that was leading away from space **** jurisdiction. Sado manoeuvred the cruiser to start following the trail and Helina made a report to headquarters. This would take about two days to arrive and two to three days to get a reply so she would exercise her own judgement.

They followed the trail for hours and the trail was becoming stronger meaning that the quarry had passed here recently. Sado had put the ship on auto navigate and was studying the fried android. She was hoping to get it functional again so it could be interrogated so to that end Sado had stripped some components from the Frobisher. Helina was sat in the pilot chair grabbing some shut-eye and dreaming about the recent event of Sado pleasuring her. The only programs remaining were those pertaining to keeping life support and propulsion working. Everything else had been wiped that concerned weapons and shields. They had limited close-range sensors and Helina realised that they had been rendered blind and defenceless. She had a hunch but she had to try and yes her hunch proved correct the communication array had been affected as well. Helina looked at Sado who was still checking the computer and trying to access the protected library so they could get some basic start chart.

Sado tried to access her own computer brain but found that her star charts had been wiped as well. So it was back to the ship's computer when Helina had an idea. She asked Sado about the droid's processing unit and if it would have been affected by the blue light. Sado said that it was possible that it had not been affected as it had been offline. She also added that the EMP had most likely destroyed the processor beyond repair but she would check. Helina checked all of the weapons in the armoury and found that they had been rendered useless as well.

Sado reported back that she may be able to get the droid's processor working and that she had fixed the communication array but only for local transmissions. Helina thought that at least it was something as Sado went to work on the droid.
