Preparing for Battle

You enter the tent where your wife is preparing for battle to find her struggling slightly to get into her armor. It was the very same armor she had worn on the day you first met and you couldn't help but feel concern for her and your unborn child's well being. She turned as she heard you enter. "My love you have to let me do this or my power over the Orange Clutch and maybe over the whole kingdom will fade. Our leaders can't just break the rules like that." She explains looking back at you. You want more than anything to be able to take her place but you also know she is right. If you were going to be able to keep control over this region the rules had to be enforced. While in the moment you wished that you could just forget about the region you knew she would never respect you again if you didn't let her fight her own battles.

"I know, but whatever happens come back to me." You say as you help her into her armor the scales of the 13 clans showing prominently. In response she kisses you and then picks up a shield with the flaming A symbol on it. She gives you one last longing look before drawing her sword and exiting the tent to the battleground.
