Pool bar.

”Eh, Ramon can’t wait a bit,” Ava said to herself as placed her phone into her waterproof clutch.

Ava made her way to the decently sized pool bar. Submerged bar-stools and hovering marble tables were strategically placed along with decadent full bar at the opposite end. Ava placed her belongings on an open lounge chair before stepping into the warm water. The pool reached just above her belly button as she continued to walk towards the bar, careful not to bump into any other already drinking guests. As she easily waded through the pool, Ava realized she had two open bar-stools spots free near the bar to order from.

On the right, there was an older man with a gorgeous young woman. While not excessive, there was definite PDA happening. Her slender tan fingers ran through his gray chest hair as her other hand ran over his leg. The man chuckled every so often from her whispers has he took sips from his scotch on the rocks. After a quick laugh he made eye contact with Ava and whispered to his young companion. Her eyes slowly turned towards the GDF agent, looking her up and down. Without looking away a smile crept on her face as she whispered back to the man, Ava only imagining what they were sharing between them.

On the left was a small group of rowdy yet still under control college aged guests, mostly consisting of men and a few women. Most of them rocked designer watches or sunglasses which most college students could only dream of affording. They had an inflatable beer pong table which rocked back and forth in the pool with each celebration or rebuke that occurred from the game’s action. While their attention was mostly focused on the game, Ava was able to catch a few wandering eyes from the obvious fraternity crew members. While a few were cute in Ava’s opinion, she was leery that their arrogance and age could make them insufferable.

Ava looked at both of her options. As she internally debated both bartenders at either spot raised their hands, indicating they were free to take her order.
