Meanswhile, back the Human realm, Buffy's friends, were stunned to find that their Buffy had been replaced by the dark realm of Glory's version of Buffy who'd been a vicious criminal who attacked Willow and her friends. Unfortunately; in the human realm Dark Buffy's power was much reduced especially when compared with Willows magic!

It didn't take long for the Willow to be in control and using her magic brought Giles and the watchers into consult. They all agreed that they needed a way to switch the two Buffy's, sending the Dark Buffy back to the Demon realm and bringing their Buffy back.

Books and ages were consulted and while it rumored to be possible to switch the duo, it was complicated and difficult spell to cast and dangerous as well, if it went wrong all sorts of bad things could have terrible resorts.

The materials were gathered and all was readied as they prepared to make an attempt to switch the two Buffy's. It was determined that best tine to attempt the spell was during the full moon and all the herbs were gathered, potions were carefully mixed and Willow and Tara oversaw everything.

At midnight the chants and secret spells were begun and a strange smoke rose from the fire, the potion were mixed and some slowly poured into the caldron to cook and add to the smoke.

The chants were spoken, the spells were cast and thunder and lightning roared across the heavens; the watchers consulted their ancient texts and all appeared to be going well while even the demons who were trapped in the Human Realm were nervous. The Watchers had hunted many of them down and destroyed them. But they could feel a portal opening, but it didn't feel like a normal one.

Willow and Tara brought all their magic to bear on casting this most important of spells and as all came together the smoke from caldron came forth and air crackled with the power of their magic as the spell was cast a roar of thunder and lightning bolt struck the caldron and a flash blinded them all.

Then as calm returned, the smoke cleared, the storm was gone, Willow and Tara looked around at the magic cage where Dark Buffy had been imprisoned, and to their surprise, the blonde in the cage seemed to be asleep. Checking carefully, the blonde awoke and looked at Willow and Tara as she looked around and asked, if this a trick, or am back in the human realm?

They spent nearly an hour verifying, that they had their 'Buffy' back and Dark Buffy was back where she belonged.

In fact, Dark Buffy was the exact place their Buffy had been, clad in the chains being tortured and abused by the guards and demons of the Hell Dimension.

Buffy was sore all over and exhausted and feeling strange, but she made her way home and on entering her room was shocked to see a copy of the black **** suit she'd been encased in, standing in her room.
