Playing hooky

Mary finds Julie's schedule and feigned looking it over. Both she and Serena had seen her full schedule, but now it seemed Mary had other plans.

"Oh, it looks like we have a free period. Must've read it wrong before." Mary said.

Serena figured this meant she wanted them to cut class. It felt like a decent plan. They could always blame Julie for it if they got caught.

"Yeah, and you know what we should do?" Serena asked.

"What?" Julie replied.

"Well, we could go to the library and study." Serena stated before she made a gagging sound to say she didn't really want to do it.

"Or, we could go to the arcade and play some games to unwind before coming back to class." Mary suggested.

"Is there something else we could do that doesn't involve me needing to see perfectly?" Julie asked.

"Well, there is one other thing." Serena set Mary up for a dramatic reveal.

"The art supply room is aways open for aspiring artists to make whatever they want. They just need to clean up after themselves." Mary explained.

"So, arcade, or an art project?" Julie didn't feel good about either option.

"I know what I'm voting for. Arcade!" Serena said.

"Well of course I'm gonna say Art room." Mary said.

It was all up to Julie.
