Player #1. A man.

Lauren looked up to see a man approaching in the agency uniform of a new recruit. She smiled and extended her hand which he took and nearly crushed in his much larger mitt. "Hello you must be the new recruit I was told to come down here and greet. My name is Agent Lauren and I'm supposed to show you around and make sure you are familiar with our mission here and how to make the most of the resources we have at our disposal."

Her opening spiel completed Lauren then began to launch into what she believed was a thorough but comprehensive briefing all the new recruit would know. However before she could even begin he cut her off.

"I'm not interested in any of that." he said, "It's always the same. The particulars aren't important. All I need to know is where I start."

Lauren was a little taken aback by this response but she just shrugged and did her best to accommodate this strange new recruit. "Alright, as you say the particulars aren't that important. Let's move on then." she said, "But first... what is your name again? I need to verify it for our records."

"Oh yeah," the new recruit sighed and rolled his eyes as he paused to think before replying.

"Very good," Lauren replied after he verified his name and credentials for her, "We have your academy records and are all expecting great results from you... Agent I-am-an-idiot." Lauren paused and looked down at her records. That name couldn't be right. "Is that correct, I-am-an-idiot?"

"You got that right," the new agent confirmed with a smile as he walked around her looking her up and down in a way she wasn't sure she liked.

"Fine than, I-am-an-idiot," Lauren said marking the name he had supplied as correct and moving on with his orientation. Unfortunately he didn't want to hear about the agency's history, overarching goals or geopolitical stance. As soon as she began speaking about one of these important subjects he would cut her off and refuse to listen, telling her to just skip it and go on with the next part of the orientation. It was frustrating but her orders were to do everything she could to get this new agent in the field, not to waste his time with things he wasn't interested in.

"Well why don't I show you around the headquarters now then since you aren't concerned with any of these 'little matters'," Lauren suggested. The new recruit agreed and soon she was leading him around the futuristic office and familiarizing him with the layout so he could find his way around without too much difficulty. He didn't seem much more interested in any of this but at least he didn't interrupt. The final stop was the Director's office.

"Here is where I leave you," She told him as she knocked on the Director's frosted glass door, "Good luck, I-am-an-idiot!"
