Petting Zoo

As Nora and Joanne were eyeing through the park's map, a sign of a nearby building had caught Sabine's eye.

"Mommy, look," said Sabine, grabbing Nora's hand.

The building Sabine was pointing to was designed like that of a newly painted red barn, similar to what you would see in young children's cartoons. Above the entrance was labeled "Old MacDonald's Littlest Petting Zoo", with a cute little duckling and a piglet painted beside them. It had a much smaller line compared to many of the other attractions, so Nora and Joanne decided that it was a good idea. The excited Sabine tried dragging her mommy while Joanne led David, his diaper making his walking much more awkward.

The barn led them into a large room the size of a warehouse. There were various walkways for visitors to walk through. Various employees were handing out cups full of feeding pellets for the park goers to give to the animals.

All over the room were animals of many shapes and sizes, all closed out within fences, signs labeling which animals were safe to interact with and which had to be kept behind the fences. There was an adult couple, both wearing childish onsies, as they were given a horsy-ride. A girl in a baby-pink sundress trying to feed an ostrich from a safe distance as it tried to get at the pellets in her hands. Babies of every shape and size were all inside the goat-pen trying to pet and play with various pygmy goats and sheep. A boy in a diaper and a Barney the Dinosaur t-shirt laughed as he was climbed on by a litter of sheep-dog puppies.
