Pearl's gem changes into a flawed Amethyst.

More than any other Crystal Gem, Amethyst was on Pearl's mind. The two were complete contrasts in every way: different personalities, different pasts, different hard light body projections. Sometimes she made Pearl want to tear her hair out, but Pearl couldn't deny that she admired the Gen. Sometimes, if she was being completely honest with herself she often wondered if being made as a lowly Amethyst, even a malformed short one, would have been a better life than being a Pearl, traded from owner to owner.

To Pearl's immense surprise, her gem began glowing softly, and no one saw as the world around her reformed, her gem changing shape, hue, and classification. When the glow died down, Pearl found the world was looking much larger, and looking down she saw breasts much larger than usual, her form's color now a dark purple, and she was now wearing the T-shirt of a human band and what Pearl was told were called 'booty shorts'. The clothing was tight enough to show off Pearl's now pudgy stomach and thick thighs and ass.

An entire lifetime of new memories spawned in Pearl's mind: she was now Thyst, a gem made from the same kindergarten as Amy, and with the same defect. A little more smart and cautious than her sister, Thyst was still crude, rude, and carefree. She'd fallen in love with Rose Quartz, and was devastated by her loss but had made up for it by mothering Steven more than anyone else.

Pearl shook her head, standing on the sidewalk trying to figure out the two lives in her head, when the Crystal Gems turned back to look at her, confused. "Thyst? What's wrong?" Peridot asked, before coming closer, looking more compassionately at Thyst than she ever had at Pearl.
