Open your mouth

You're helpless. You can't move your arms, you can't move your legs, everyone is passed out and Hestia is armed with a mind-altering fruit that will clear her name. Even so, you have one last idea. It's a far stretch, but you decide to try it anyways.

You clench your teeth shut as Hestia brings the berry forward to your mouth. Then, at the last moment you lurch you open your mouth and lurch forward. Your teeth bite down on Hestia's hand as hard as they can, drawing blood.

"AAaaaaAAAAAHHHHRGHHH!" Yells Hestia. She drops the berry, still intact, into your mouth. Still holding onto her hand with your teeth, you use your tongue to crush the berry against the roof of your mouth and lick the open wound. You hold onto her hand for as long as you can, despite her punches and kicks. Eventually though, the blueberry takes effect, and you start drifting off to sleep. Hestia yanks her bloody hand out of your mouth and clutches it tightly.

"N-nice try, May!" She sniffles with pain. "But that's not going to work! The blueberry is enteral only! It won't take effect if it enters my bloodstream!"

Your thoughts fade as you drift off to dreamland.

You wake up in the cave with Noel looking after you. She's got a plate of food by her side, and a bowl of water.

"..........?" You ask her. "...?"

Your lips and mouth are moving, but nothing's coming out. You can't understand what's going on. Noel answers for you.

"You've been..." She starts off, but changes her sentence halfway through. "You're the latest victim. And hopefully the last... Miku's investigating the two suspects right now."

You reach for the food but Noel stops you.

"Oh... This isn't for you... This is mine. Miku says your not allowed to eat anything until the investigation's over."

You look at Noel in confusion.

"See... I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but when Hestia found you, she had a bitemark on her hand. At first, she claimed it was Cynthia who had ra- er... violated you, and drugged you, but when Miku saw her hand, she got suspicious. Hestia claimed that she had fought and knocked out Cynthia as she was... violating you, and Cynthia ended up biting her. Miku wasn't so sure and so... well... That's when I was told to go and wash you up. I then brought you in here."

You lick the insides of your mouth. You don't taste anything, no berries, no iron. You wished that you could mention that to Noel, but you didn't have any way of communicating that. You got to your feet and stumbled out of the cave.

"W-wait!" cried Noel. "You don't have to go out there! You should rest!"

You shook your head. You wanted to see what exactly was going on.

"Oh... Well, then at least let me escort you!"

You made your way toward the sound of arguing next to the apple tree back in camp. Cynthia was lying on the ground, still out cold. Miku was screaming and pointing fingers while Hestia tried to defend herself. Everyone else was gathered around, watching carefully.

"...the one who did it!" Cried C.C. "We didn't find any traces of blood in Cynthia's mouth!"

"She must have swallowed it!" Responded Hestia. It sounded like she was starting to lose it.

"SWALLOWED it?" Said Ruby. "How can you SWALLOW all traces of blood!?"

"We didn't find any blood in May's mouth either, though!" Stated Erza.

"That's because she washed it..." Started Ruby. "Oh, speak of the devil..." You limped into the clearing and sat down outside the circle. Miku walked over to you.

"May, you don't remember who attacked you, right?" She asked. You shook your head. "Alright, then I've got a request for you. Bite down on this here."

Miku handed you a thick stack of leaves. You did as she said and left an imprint of your teeth. Miku took it and compared it to Hestia's bite wound. That's when things really started to kick off.

"...Grab her." Muttered Miku. Hestia tried to run, but Erza and Zelda tackled her and pinned her to the ground. Ruby and Rei pinned her legs down, while Filia and Noel grabbed her arms.

"Those are unmistakably May's bitemarks on your hand, Hestia." Stated Miku coldly.

"Those could be... Anyone's... Bitemarks..." Sneered Hestia.

"Hmpf. Alright, it's not a perfect impression, but between May and Cynthia, the distinction is clear. Not to mention, there's the fact that Cynthia didn't have any blood in her mouth. Sure, May didn't have any blood either, but that's because you washed it out, didn't you?"

"...You're wrong. I washed the blood out of Cynthia's mouth."

"Oh? And why would you do that? If you were really innocent, then YOU WOULDN'T ERASE THE EVIDENCE DAMNING THE CRIMINAL? NOW WOULD YOU HESTIA?!"

Miku was starting to look scary. She had a horrible look in her eyes and her voice was no longer calm. It was apparent that she was PISSED.

"Not only did you fake your own rape, you had the NERVE to go and rape TWO of my friends! And then, you thought you could go and PIN the ENTIRE DAMN THING ON the SWEETEST woman I have EVER come to know!"

Miku raised her leg and kicked Hestia in the face as hard as she could. Hestia's nose broke, and blood started dripping.

"You REALLY thought that you'd get away with this?! From the second we saw that bitemark on your hand your fate was sealed, Hestia! We don't have just ONE piece of evidence against you, we have FOUR. There was no blood in Cynthia's mouth, the bitemark matches May's teeth, you tried to run away from us, and when Cynthia finally wakes up, I'm sure the story she'll tell will damn you even more!"

Miku spat on the ground harshly.

"Hestia, you will be subject to the very berries you abused for the rest of your time here. And as long as they don't kill you, I will allow ANYONE to do whatever they want to you, no matter WHAT it is."

Hestia glared at Miku, struggled and roared with frustration.

"Rem." asked Miku quietly. "I'm trusting you. Go and get me some blueberries."
