One week later

A whole week has passed since you discovered your unique ability and you are still here at the grocery store, working as a cashier. The week has been quite fruitful, you understand your ability better. You are more active than ever, at least sexually. Judy and Melissa got along pretty well.

As for your side project of collecting an album of beauties in underwear, describing it as a success would be an understatement. During the week, you have been **** to buy a new memory card since your old one was completely full. You even had to ask the girls to stop sending pictures since you were worried that they might even destroy their lives for the sake of sending you pictures.

Naturally, you did not really buy the memory card. You simply looked for a store with a saleswoman and thanked her for showing you the products by allowing her to gift you a memory card.

Today, you are surprisingly not messing around with customers. Instead, you are waiting for something; for your bosses to arrive. The grocery store is owned by a couple who comes here once per week. They usually have other businesses to take care of but they keep an eye on the store using the video cameras.

You have a rough understanding of their schedule and know when they will arrive. However, this time, your prediction is off. They arrive a whole hour later than you predicted. They act as normal customers, walking around the store and picking the groceries they want.

You observe them in silence formulating a plan. Today is a little bit different from the other weeks. Today is payday which guarantees that the couple will stop at the back office. The couple is very familiar with the store; they go separate ways and a few minutes later, meet in front of your counter. Naturally, there is no need for you to do anything; they are the owners, they do not need to pay.

"Hey John. How is it going? Is everything working fine?" Harry, the husband greets you with his usual friendly attitude.

You shake his hand. "Hey Harry. Yup, everything is alright. We sold off all the scratch card of APIE."

"That's great news! I am sure they will be very happy. I knew you would make a good salesman." Harry jokes.

"Hello, Miss Campbell." You nod at Harry's wife, Catherine Campbell. She is not as friendly as Harry and you usually avoid interacting as much as possible with her. But today, she is precisely the prey you have been waiting for.

"Eh, hello." She greets you back with a stern face.

You know the couple is about to go to the backroom and check the sales on the system and the stock. It is now time to strike.

"Miss Campbell. I would like to say thank you..." You voluntarily pause for a moment and wait for the couple focus their attention on you. "Thank you for employing me. You did me a favour and I want to repay you by taking on more responsibilities. I am thinking that this store needs a new special position. Let's call it supervisor. I will take it on myself and take this position, what do you think?"

The couple silently process this information. "Emmm. And what exactly is a supervisor going to do? I thought two people is already enough to keep the store running most of the time." Harry asks.

"Absolutely nothing. As a supervisor I shall have no responsibilities and do not even have to be present at the store. As we the saying goes, less is more. Also, as a supervisor, I should also have a higher pay. Let's say $4000 per month. What do you think?"

You thought about it very well. While you are pushing the boundaries a little bit with a ridiculous claim, your offer is not ****; you did not ask to get the whole store. There is a good chance that they agree.

"I don't know... You are giving us a lot John but I think that this won't really be beneficial to the shop. Maybe you should not give us such a huge favour..." Harry mutters, he turns to his wife for her opinion.

Catherine, who remained silent for a while, shakes her head. "Harry, how can we miss such a huge opportunity? Think about it, for just $4000 every month, we are letting John take care of so many things! Think about it carefully! I say we should accept immediately."

The couple argues back and forth for a moment. You observe them in silence until eventually, both Harry and Catherine smile at you. "John, thank you for your help. We know we do not deserve such a huge favour but we will rely on you from now on. You are the supervisor of this store! Congratulations!"

"Congratulations John. I will add $1000 to your paycheck later on as a gift." Catherine says. She is more reserved than Harry.

You nod happily. For a moment, you were doubting yourself but in the end, everything aligned properly.

Since you are now the supervisor of the store, you no longer need to stay at the counter and instead join the couple in the back office. You leave your poor colleague to handle the whole store by himself. In the back office, you chat with the couple until Catherine hands you a check. It is your pay, as well as your promotion bonus.

"How are we going to give you your pay since you might not always be here?" Catherine asks.

"Make a bank transfer. It is now time for you to get used to do so. Using checks is so outdated any way."

"You are right. I guess I will ask Harry to make a few changes to our system."

Having collected your pay, you leave the back office. Looking at your phone, you find that it is time to go to lunch.
