Your mom decides to pull rank.
"All right, both of you, go to your rooms! I don't want to see or hear you until dinnertime."
You beg, Taylor backtalks, but Mom is adamant. To your rooms you go.
You wait a good forty minutes for things to cool down before you figure that any kind of move would be possible. You're kind of mad at Taylor for blowing the scene with Mom. You're not even sure Mom is really upset with you or not, or just with Taylor.
You wonder if you should try and find Mom again and make nice, or just stay far away until dinnertime.
