On Second Thoughts...
"GOBLINS! Lots of them!" The elf shouted as she leapt into the saddle and took off towards the east, leaving the monk standing behind her for a moment, before he trotted up the hill to see what was going on.
He saw a charging band of goblins, far more than he could handle, headed right for him, with many more waiting behind. With a curse, he tore his robes off and flung them away, hoping for the drifting robes to create the illusion of a moving person, even if only for a moment. Then he turned and ran in the other direction, down the hill as fast as his taloned feet could carry him.
Seen without his robes on, Poisonhook was a lean reptilian creature, with two-tone green scales and icy blue eyes. He wore no shirt - which might explain the scratching - and had a few entirely cosmetic scars on his upper body.
He had a lot of experience with running, usually across city rooftops or cobblestones but... a dirt road was close enough. He wished he'd studied displacement magic, though - being able to teleport would have been so much more useful now.
As the goblins reached the top of the hill, he darted off the road, leaping down into a small hollow. Dead grasses crunched under his taloned feet as he ran, keeping as low as he could in case any of the goblins had bows.
He could see movement up ahead, but he was too low to the ground and too focused on running to properly see what it was. All he could do was hope that it wasn't more goblins...
