"Here you go," Adam said, pulling a five dollar bill out of his pocket.

"Why thank you Adam, you know I've been asking people all day for change, and you're the first one to give me some."

"Wait, how did you know my name?"

"That's not important, but because you were so generous, I'll tell you what I'm going to do. First I want you to take your five dollars back. Here you go take it," the old man said as he shoved the five dollar bill back into Adam's hand. "And now I'm going to give you a special gift, I'm going to give you the power to control people's minds."

"Wha...?" Adam exclaimed.

"That's right, any mind you want to control, you just tell them what to do and they'll do it. Go ahead try it out," the old man said, pointing to a man getting ready to pass them.

"Hey you, give me your wallet," Adam said to the man, and sure enough the man took out his wallet and handed it to Adam, and continued walking on. "Hey wait, take your wallet back," Adam called out. The man quickly responded by turning around, walking back, taking the wallet from Adam, and then continuing on his way.

"You see I told you, you can control anyone's mind you just have to tell them what to do. But just make sure you use your powers wisely, now you better be getting on to school or you'll be late."

Adam looked down at his watch and realized the old man was right. But when he looked up to thank the old man, the old man had vanished. Adam looked around trying to find him, but no such luck. But then he began to remember the power he had, he could control people's minds. He could hardly beleive it, but then he began to wonder what he should use his powers for...
