Chapter 7

Is there any fallout?
Oddly enough, no
You woke the next day refreshed and content. Jessica's door remained closed as you prepared yourself for the day. As you made your way to class you steeled yourself for the consequences of your actions. Any friendship you had with Justin was clearly over and you doubt your God fearing roommate could ever look past this. "Was it all worth it?" you wondered to yourself. "I love being used," Jessica's voice echoed through your mind. You shivered at the memory. At the very least you had that. Classes progressed normally and your phone stayed quiet for the most part. No threatening texts or admonishments. You made your way home and almost expected to find Jessica had moved out. In fact what you were met with was...no change at all. Her door still remained closed but you could tell no one had moved. "Hmm..." you pondered to yourself. You popped into your roommate's room to see how he would react at seeing you. It was just as you expected. No surprises. No drama. You almost wondered if last night was a dream.
You busied yourself with homework and videogames the remainder of the day and once again readied yourself for bed. As you made your way to the bathroom to brush your teeth you noticed that Jessica's door was cracked open now. You crept closer, careful not to make a sound. You weren't sure why you felt the need to sneak about but made no effort to change your demeanor. As you arrived just outside her door you could make out the voices of Jessica and Justin within. They seemed to be arguing about something. You moved ever so closer and froze as you peered through the crack and saw the side of Jessica's face through the floor mirror in her room.
"I'm just saying that maybe we could change things up," Jessica pleaded. "I've just never done anything like that before. I'm not sure I have it in me babe," Justin replied. "God damn it Justin! Just fuck me like you own me! I feel like I'm crazy for even having to ask you!" Jessica was almost shouting now. "But what if you don't like it," Justin retorted? "I feel like if I got...aggressive...and you didn't like it that we couldn't go back and pretend it never happened. It'd be like Pandora's Box." "Trust me," Jessica said as she turned and met your gaze through the mirror, "I'll love it." she finished with a wry smile.
You quickly broke eye contact and made your way back to the bathroom. Anymore of that and you would have burst through the door and shown Justin exactly what Jessica was asking for. No need to burn that bridge unnecessarily. You finished up in the bathroom and made your way back to bed. Sleep would not come easy this night, it it came at all. Part of you wondered if you shouldn't just go back and claim her again.
Go back?
