I watch lovingly as Vi pulls out her phone to take some pictures of the historic campus and the silhouette of the major city not too far away.

"Is that something you want to do?"

Vi continues to snap pictures "Hmm?"

"What you said... touch other people"

Vi shakes her head as she pulls the phone down into her lap "Nah, I was just teasing babe"

I **** the lump in my throat down as I continue to probe "I uhm, I wouldn't mind... I think it's kind of fun actually, it's, exciting?

Vi looks up from her phone and notices my nervous stature, she fully lifts her head as she puts her phone back into her pocket, "Do you want me to?"

I pull my bottom lip into my mouth as I grind my teeth together nervously "I think... I'd like to try and see if it's fun"

Vi reassuringly takes my hands into hers "Babe, I'm not exactly shy about flaunting my assets, I don't mind the occasional flirt and stuff, in fact I enjoy it... "

I look up from our hands and towards her face.

"... I of course am okay with it, and I would love to try something that will make you happy and excited... But"

My heart drops.

"You have to say it straight up, if you can't even say it out loud then I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it"
