Nurse Karen arrives

Lauren stared at the ceiling knowing that every person she ever talked to in her life knew her darkest shame. Not being able to move at all left her trapped in her head and her nude body completely exposed. All she could think about was how the world was punishing her for her deception. She felt like her only escape was being someone else.

Nurse Karen opened the door with a cart. She looked down at the nude Lauren and tried to not look at her body and undersized chest which looked even flatter as she laid on her back. Karen would never tell her this but the restraints had to be borrowed from a children’s ward since she was too small for their regular restraints.

“How are you, Lauren?”

“Not well.” She answered despondently.

“I know, sweetie, but being able to admit that is part of the process. Do you want a gown or a blanket?”

“No... I need to make up for what I’ve done. Can you just let me up?”

“You have nothing to make up for but you’re in charge as far as covering. I can’t let you out; I’m sorry hun, it’s a 72 hour hold. we’re just going to make sure you’re not going to hurt yourself. Your episode was...”

Lauren had to interrupt her because of her guilt “I’m so sorry. Not just because I want to be let up, I do, but because I put you in that situation. You’re the first person who was nice to me and knew me. It has nothing do with trying to get out, I just don’t want to lose you.”

Rubbing Lauren’s head Nurse Karen tried to comfort her.

“You’ll never lose me. If they fired me tomorrow I’d visit everyday. You’re a special young lady. Just make sure you don’t lose yourself. You can recover.”

That Nurse Karen still cared made Lauren a little less upset. She thought she’d never look at her the same after her freak out.

Karen broke the silence “I heard you need to pee.”

Embarrassed Lauren just nodded and averted her eyes.

“Okay, we can’t let you out just yet so I’m going to use a catheter. Do you know what that is?”

Lauren shook her head ‘no.’

“It’s this little tube we insert into your urethra to help drain your bladder.”

The indignities seemed unending but she just didn’t respond. She felt she deserved it.

“Is that okay?”

Lauren nodded not feeling she had a choice in the matter since peeing all over herself sounded more unpleasant.

“You might feel some pressure. If you need to yell it’s quite alright.”

Karen put on gloves. She then took the catheter and lubricated it. Lauren didn’t want to appear as **** as she felt so she didn’t want to yell, she just needed to tough it out.

“I’m going to place my hands on your vulva. Is that alright?”

Lauren looked at her and nodded again.

She spread Lauren’s vaginal lips and guided the tube to her urethra.

“Here it comes. It’s going to be okay.”

Lauren braced herself. She was expecting a bit of discomfort. It went in and she felt her urethra widening and to her surprise it hurt like hell.

“Shit! Fuck!”

Now that it didn’t need to be guided Karen rubbed Lauren’s stomach trying to calm her. Lauren just felt her touching her pudge and got even more self conscious. The tube kept going and her urethra was in pain.

“Nurse Karen, please your hand.”

Gently Karen placed her free hand in Lauren’s as it was restrained against her side. Lauren squeezed as hard as she could.

“It’s okay, it’ll be okay.” She said trying to comfort her.

Finally the tube entered her bladder. Lauren felt the most bizarre pressure inside her. She held Karen’s hand still even though the pain had mostly subsided. Relief came soon after as she started to feel the pee flowing out of her.

“Are you okay?”

“No...but maybe I can get there.” She said more for Karen’s benefit than her own.

As the pee stopped flowing into the bag Lauren worried taking it out would hurt as much as it did going in.

“I’m going to take it out now.”

“Okay.” She Said after closing her eyes, expecting pain.

She squeezed Karen’s hand again and this time it hurt a lot less. It slid out pretty easily.

“That wasn’t as bad.”

“I’m glad to hear that. I hate seeing you in pain. Emotional or physical.”

“You don’t think I deserve it?” Lauren said averting her eyes.

“No, you deserve to have as good of a life as possible.”

Thinking about her unwanted celebrity status as the naked woman who pretended to be a little girl to hide that she didn’t have the body she faked for years “I’m pretty sure that’s still not very good.”

Lauren didn’t want to ever leave this place but she didn’t want to let Dr. Sheryl and Nurse Karen down. She didn’t know what she was going to do.
