“-I think where this is going. Your bed or mine?”

You raised a brow, “I want to learn to speak Fae. Can you teach me?” His eyes widened in shock before the smirk appeared back on his devilishly handsome face.

“Can I ask why?”

“I want to be the first Human to know and understand Fae history.” He hummed, rubbing his chin with his free hand.

“I guess that’s as good a answer as any.”

You watched him closely, watching the mischievous glint to his eyes, “what do you want?”

He feigned shock before laughing lightly, “you know. You’re the first human girl I’ve met that hasn’t thrown themselves at me the moment we met.” You blinked at him. “Fine, it’s not illegal but sorta a taboo to teach humans the language of Fae.” He watched your face closely for a reaction, when it didn’t change he continued, “I shouldn’t get in trouble but I want to make sure it’s worth my while.”

“I’ll do anything,” the moment the words left your mouth you regretted them. The Fae never spoke a word they didn’t mean and they expected the same treatment from humans.
