Now the Mother's role

Now Lauren's gown and underwear was sabotaged. The next part was up to the mother. Michelle had a prescription to Soma's, which she crushed up into a fine powder. Then she got a bottle of fine champagne from the kitchen. She brought it up to Lauren's room. Lauren was wearing a bathrobe, getting her nails done and her hair styled. She shot a glare at her mother as she walked in.

"What do you want?" She asked suspiciously.

"OH, nothing much." Her mother said. "I thought you might like a drink."

"What for?" Lauren asked.

"Well, it's you big charity ball and I guessed you might be tense." Her mother said as she found two glasses and poured some champagne into them.

"I thought this might help. Also I was hoping we could bury the hatchet from the last ball. After all we're still family."

While she spoke Michelle tipped the small container of powder into one of the glasses. It was the crushed up contents of two Soma pills. She approached Lauren.

"Is that so?" Lauren asked, taking the glass while looking at her mother. "Let me guess. You remembered that I have millions of dollars and wanted to sweeten me up?"

"I just don't want our family to grow estranged." Her mother said. "I know you and your sister have your differences, but we're all still family."

Michelle handed Lauren the glass with the powder in it. Lauren sipped it, looking up at her mother.

"Well, I guess I understand that." Lauren said. "Anyways, I'm very busy..."

"I'll leave." Michelle took her own glass and moved to the door. As she turned away she saw Lauren down her whole glass in a gulp and smiled. She left the rest of the bottle and went out the door.

Drugging her own daughter? Not the most wholesome thing to do. But, Michelle was in a worrying position. Lauren had inherited millions of dollars Michelle thought she'd be getting. Not only that, Lauren had never expressed any plans to support Michelle at all. After the will expiration Michelle expected Lauren would kick her out on the street.

Besides that, Lauren was being incredibly wasteful with the money. Michelle knew it wouldn't last long. She had to act, to get it into more responsible hands. Hence their plan...

The Somas had a relaxing effect on their own. Mixed with **** they greatly increased the inebriation. If Lauren finished that bottle of champagne she'd be in quite the state by the ball...
