“Well... where’s my outfit?” Lauren asked nervously

“Well the thing is Lauren, all we had left were old clothes from when you were a kid, and you have put on quite a few pounds since then so none of them would have fit you anyway” Her mom replied

Lauren scoffed at the weight comment and looked down at her small protruding belly

“So what are you saying?” Lauren asked

“What I’m saying, Lauren, is I don’t have any clothes for you to wear. So you’ll just have to go to college as you are” Lauren’s mom replied as Vanessa stood in the kitchen laughing wildly

“WHAT?! BUT MOM I’M NAKED!” Lauren shouted

“Well yes I can see that” Replied her mom smugly

“Then why did you call me down for my outfit???” Lauren asked

“It’s called joking around Lauren, you really need a sense of humour girl” Her mom scoffed

“But mom, I can’t go to college naked!” Lauren said, trembling at the thought

“I’ve already called the office and explained what’s happened and they said it’s fine, don’t worry it’s only a temporary solution until we can buy you some new clothes” Lauren’s mom said

“Now let’s go, we’re late enough as it is” she said as she grabbed Lauren’s hand and led her out the door
