Seeing your surprised expression, Amy hurriedly amends, “For Netflix and chill, you know, just hanging out.”

Your heart aches to go with her, but you've made a commitment to your parents that you'll be back before midnight, and you have a long trip the next day to a university. As you’d feared, Amy is momentarily crestfallen when you tell her, but then she pipes up,

“Same time next week?”

“That’s be amazing,” you reply with a sigh of relief.

“But this time, I pick the date,” she grins. Man, that smile is infectious.

“Be my guest,” you smile.

“No,” she says, getting onto her bus, “You’ll be mine.” And with a mischievous wink, she's gone.
