You shake the desire from your mind as you place your hand on Sir Roland's shoulder. "Roland it's alright". The good knight steps aside as you walk towards the man. "Good sir it pains me to see my people in such dire situations. I can not and shall not stand idly by whilest my people suffer". The mans face brightens as he realizes his fortune in having the luck to have inspired you to help. "Sir Roland will see to it that you amd your family find good work among my staff in the palace and that suitable lodgings are found for you and your family". Sir Roland nods beside you as the mans face beams with happiness. "Thank you my lord I will never forget this" The man says as he gathers his family. Sir Roland motions to a few nearby guards and tells them of your plans for the beggars before they lead the family off to the palace to enjoy their new lives.
